Does anyone know how extensive the process is to change the ECT(engine cooling temp) sensor on a 2000 GP GT 3.8L? Any tips would be great too.

located by the throttle body, below the thermostat housing.

Drain coolant
Disconnect connector
unscrew sensor

When installing, make sure to hand start the sensor into the threads.. avoid stripping !!

Thanks for the input. Does anyone have engine pics of the ECT sensor?

What did you use to get the sensor out? I removed the plug. I cant get a socket on it nor a wrench.
