Engine swap ??bamaalan 10-12-2007, 11:08 AM I've got a '94 2500 with over 200K miles that I use to tow with. I've rebuilt the rear end and just had the tranny rebuilt, but it's already acting up. I know it's under warranty, and I'll be taking it back for service. But, I just found a '74 Dodge down the street with a 440/727 for $1500 that runs strong. SOooo, my question is what would it take to transplant this engine/tranny into my '94 Ram? Has anyone ever attemted this swap? I'd been thinking for a while that I'd like to find a 383 for my truck, but seeing how the one down the street just showed up, it's got me thinking hard. fanworks 10-22-2007, 05:38 AM http://www.woodalls.com/cforum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/18503624/srt/pa/pging/1/page/1 Read that thread, then get in contact with that guy if you can, he could probably tell ya more about the logistics of it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
