I know this sounds like an old issue but no forums I have looked into so far have resolved my problem. My 2.0L 4dr USA Camry w/sliding a/c fan switch only has the two higher speeds. I have been told the resistor pack is behind the glove box and is square w/4 wires attached to it. In fact that is an acceleration cut out module and I still have not located the resistors. Has anyone had success with this issue? Thanks................

Welcome to the forum. Have you checked the maintenance manual for your car found in the "Factory Service Manuals" thread at the top of the forum?

Thanks RIP, but I did check the factory manual. It did show the resistor bank in the wiring diagram but did not indicate where in the car it is actually located. Will keep on looking.................

your resistor pack it's simple to get to... 1 screw ... just put your head where the passenger feet goes and look up.. you'll see it with 1 screw... and with either a 6 or 4 pin connector on it...

It should be in the blower motor housing itself. Just follow the wiring back from the blower motor and it should go to the resistor pack first, before going to the blower motor itself. It is in the housing so the blower can help keep the resistors cool. This lengthens their lifespan.

Well, there's nothing but a blank plastic panel to look up at on the passenger side so I'm back through the glove box to find that onery resistor again.
