i was wondering how fast is to fast to reach the 195 blow off point of my thermostat

I'm not sure if there is a too fast as long as the thermostat does open and flow enough to stop further increases in temperature.
That said, in the summer, mine will get up to temp in 5 minutes if I jump in the truck and go.
It takes quite a bit longer in the winter.

it takes about 4 or 5

Just to be sure, within 1 minute after starting cold, see if the top radiator hose is tight with pressure. If it is then we might have a head gasket problem.
Other than that, I don't see a problem...wish they would warm up that fast in the winter.
