Let's start at the beginning... sounds like a good place to start.

1 - You say you have new tires? Were they bought at a reputable dealer? Were the wheels balanced?

2 - I'm not sure about this one... First, I would check the pulley where the serpentine belt drives the A/C. Watch it when the engine is running (Not too closely, though). ( A/C clutch???)

3 - The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) tells the computer where your foot is on the skinny pedal. If you aren't pressing the gas, it tells the computer to idle. The most common symptom of a bad TPS is the Jeep stalling at idle. At about $40 and 30 minutes, this is an easy fix.

4 - If you don't mind a squeaky saggy rear with a bouncy ride, go ahead and leave your springs how they are.

Good luck! :)
