94 Taurus, Cruise Control QuitJUSTIMAGINATION 10-04-2007, 10:39 PM When Works, It Works Fine. Stopped And All Connections Are Ok, All Vaccum Connected........cant Figure It Out....... shorod 10-06-2007, 10:35 AM I'd suggest you check the Vehicle Speed Sensor to see if there may be an intermittant connection to it. If not, then the sensor itself may be bad. Does the "Cruise" light on the dash stay illuminated when the cruise stops? Have you checked the brake pedal switch? The cruise should have a brake pedal switch independent of the brake light switch if I recall correctly. -Rod JUSTIMAGINATION 10-06-2007, 08:01 PM I'd suggest you check the Vehicle Speed Sensor to see if there may be an intermittant connection to it. I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE 6+ YRS AND WHEN IT WORKS IT WORKS GREAT. WHERE IS THE SPEED SENSOR LOCATED???? shorod 10-07-2007, 11:48 AM My recall is that there will be a green (or maybe yellow) light that comes on in the instrument cluster that says "Cruise," but I don't remember specifics of my 1993 Taurus SHO to say that for sure. If you have your owner's manual, it should say in there if there's an indicator. The vehicle speed sensor will be mounted on the transmission, near the firewall and steering rack I believe. If you find where your speedometer cable exists the firewall and follow it to the transmission, the VSS should be at the lower end of that with a connector plugged in to it. -Rod JUSTIMAGINATION 10-07-2007, 04:07 PM My recall is that there will be a green (or maybe yellow) light that comes on in the instrument cluster that says "Cruise," but I don't remember specifics of my 1993 Taurus SHO to say that for sure.
