What the heck was that???Heep 09-21-2001, 11:38 PM OK, mystery car. I saw it on Wednesday, and I have no idea what it was. Looked similar to an '80's wedge TVR roadster, but it was a fixed hardtop (did TVR sell hardtops in the US in the 80's?). Also looked sort of Fiero like, just different dimensions. It had vents in the middle of the hood (trunk? I mean the front....), and had either real or fake scoops on the sides right behind the doors. Any ideas? Porsche 09-22-2001, 12:00 AM Originally posted by Heep OK, mystery car. I saw it on Wednesday, and I have no idea what it was. Did you go up and look at it? Heep 09-22-2001, 12:12 AM No, I might go back later. It was parked in a guy's driveway, and I was in a hurry. I just looked up the TVR Wedges and it wasn't one of those. Porsche 09-22-2001, 12:30 AM Up until a few motnhs ago I thought that TVR's were always streamlined, then I saw a 93 Griffith for sale, It looks 100% better now than then. Heep 09-22-2001, 12:37 AM  You think a '93 Griffith isn't streamlined? What? I'm confused...please rephrase that.....  CraigFL 09-22-2001, 08:19 AM Could it be a Triumph TR7? Morpheus XIII 09-22-2001, 08:35 AM You mention Fiero... kit car? Porsche 09-22-2001, 03:30 PM Well, it may have been older than a 93' but on the TVr website, I looked up some used cars and the old TVr's don't look very good. Mind you thier still better than most cars of that time. josedi 09-22-2001, 05:13 PM Originally posted by CraigFL Could it be a Triumph TR7? I am with Craig on this one, I am leaning towards a Triumph TR7..:bandit: Porsche 09-22-2001, 05:49 PM But they usually say "TR7" all over them. Heep 09-22-2001, 10:02 PM No, it was definately NOT a TR7, but very similar shape. I didn't see the back very well since it was backed in the driveway right up to the garage door, but it didn't have the wierd chopped back window of the TR7. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
