1999 Plymouth Neon #3 injector flooding cylvalvebody 10-01-2007, 06:54 PM I have a 99 plymouth neon,2.0 sohc, auto. Here is my problem,# 3 injector sprays a continous spray of gas when I turn the key on. Does not stop untill I turn key off. Raw gas coming out of tail pipe. I thought the injector was bad, so I swaped the injector, and the problem stayed at #3. I think it is the ecm is bad. Correct me if I'm wrong. My question is about the ecm. My ecm vin is 05269819 AF. What does the two letters AF stand for. I found a ecm with a vin 05269819 AE. Would this ecm work. Thanks, Wayne valvebody 10-08-2007, 04:46 PM Found the problem with the injector staying on. The PCM control module was bad. The #3 injector power supply from the PCM was staying on. Replaced the PCM and it's ok now. As far as what the two letters at the end of module vin. The letters are the upgrade software version for the PCM. The controller supercedes from a AE, to a AF, to a AG, to an AH. All the same box, just with upgraded software. das2123 10-09-2007, 11:11 AM Thats great information. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
