I have a 2003 Aurora 4.0 and was just wondering what the normal oil pressure psi should be at a cold start, after it has been warmed, and while driving at highway speed. At a cold start, my car is showing approx. 76 psi and then drops to a steady 16 psi after warmed up. It seems like quite a drop to me, but I read on another site that it is normal and that digital oil pressure displays are inaccurate anyway. The car only has 42000 miles.
Has anybody had any catalytic converter problems with these cars? I have a loud and fairly consistent whistling noise coming from the tail pipes when revving the motor. With this annoying whistle and sluggish acceleration, I was thinking that it might be the catalytic converter. Any opions or insight?
