Any special tricks to replacing a broken exterior door handle on a 96 Corolla?

My daughter gave me a call and said she needs one replaced and the Dealer wanted her first born to install a $20 item so she called me. now I have changed handles before but I dont have the book on her car. Its probably the left front I forgot to ask but front has the lock and the car is used for work and only the driver door gets uised most days. I think the dealer must have done that thing yhat they swear they don'r do Woman, Dumb, More Money!!
I might even take it to a locksmith near the jumk yards (hole in the wall shop) as they are always replacing the doorlocks and a handle may be a piece of cake to them if its too much for me.

My only experience on replacing a door handle is a 94 Camry (daughter's) and it took 3 hands but its doable for a shade tree mechanic.

i just put one on my '92 cost $5.00 at junkyard. a prism handle will work you ought to be able to swap doorlocks so the key will work in the replaced handle
