football stuck in window

While rolling up the rear power window, a football was stuck between the glass and the top of the door. Now the window is off the track, and the track is stuck up top. The glass slides freely off the track, but the motor won't return the track down to the bottom. When I hit the switch the motor makes no sound. I pulled the panel and can see the glass is no longer attached to the regulator. Any help in getting the motor to run again?

OK...here's the solution.

We took the door panel off and couldn't figured out how to remove the motor (rivets???) We came inside and started surfing the web and found that the quick fix to free the motor up was to bang the door skin near the motor. We were immediately able, then, to get the reg down. We put the glass back on track and put some crazy glue in there. Good as new!

Now if anyone wants to share how to remove the motor, I'm all ears...
