Had trouble with car starting and thought it might be a relay in the fuse box. Accidently broke the relay to the AC comp when trying to change the fuel pump relay. When we got the car running again, I replaced the relay for the AC comp. After doing that the car's AC doesn't get cold. It worked fine before trouble started. The reason it wouldn't start was the ignition switch. Any suggestions on the AC problem?

Welcome to AF.

You might have the wrong relay, installed improperly or need something else ... :dunno:

Try checking the fuses, and make sure that relay is in correctly and verify it is working.
With the engine running hav someone turn the AC off and on while you listen to the relayss.

You could have also damaged another one of the relays under the hood, they are crammed together pretty good.
Another lovly design :disappoin

Lastly your refrig might just be low, and or a wire shorted which would cause a fuse/relay to blow.

If you cant resolve it, might be best to take it to a shop that does AC work so they can scann the pcm and check refrig levels, and other components.

Good Luck
