:mad: Listen to this s@#t. I was rollin down the freeway on saturday and all of a sudden my timming belt snapped. FUCK. I had it towed to a local shop and the dude at the front desk said he could look at it on monday. Again, fuck. So i had someone pick me up and i waited for the shop to call on monday. If you've read my other post you would know that my car's been leaking oil and coolant. Well when they opened up my motor to replace the timing belt they found a leaky cam seal and a blown water pump. When all was said and done it cost me about $450, but at least now i don't leak anything. Sweet. So i'm driving the car home on tuesday at about 10:00 at night and a fucking deer jumps out in front of me. Tore the passenger side headlight right off the car. Talk about a streak of bad luck. I was so fucking pissed. I've never been hunting before but i think this season i'm getting a license. I'm out.

:D There now...calm down. We all have our misfortune, now and then...some sooner, some later. Watch BAMBI before doing anything like that...hehehe.

Well, I've been out hunting the last week or so (on and off) - I'm eliminating those road hazzards for you :)

for having the timing belt snap, along with everything else wrong with the motor, only paying $450 was pretty damn lucky. things could have been a hell of a lot worse in that regard. as for the deer, sucks for you i guess. at least you got back at the dear by slamming into it with over a ton of metal moving really fast. looking back on the event, i think the deer would have chosen a different course of action.

I guess $450 wasn't so bad. It still torqued me to have my ride down all weekend only to be attacked by a deer the next day. Anyway its running like a peach now and it only cost me $100 and some change to replace the headlights and signals that got smashed by the deer. The hood and fender still need some attention, but that'll get done when i take the car to have it painted.
