My dealer claims that the warranty for a faulty DPFEGR sensor was extended to 5 years / 74K miles by Mazda. Does anybody know whether this is true?

My 5 years in this 2002 Tribute ended 6 months back and he is now charging around 200$s for replacing the DPFEGR sensor.
