'99 grand am front brake noise

I recently changed the front brake pads on my '99 grand am. I had the rotors turned and put new pads on it. Now the front brakes "squeel" when I apply them. I lubricated the caliper pins and the noise still is present. There is also a slight clicking sound coming from the front wheel while driving, but I don't think they are related. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Did you put the pads on correctly?
The wear indicator goes on the inside of the rotors,
its easily turned around.

Also did you use anti sqeek stuff on the back of the pads ?

and welcome to AF.

Thanks for your reply. The pads are installed correctly, but I have never heard of putting lubricant on the back of the pads. I assume it is just the pads next to the caliper piston? Also, what do you use? Is it just a brake lubricant? Is there anything else that might play into it. Do turned rotors play anything into this noise?

Its called disc brake quiet. Sold at all part stores.

it applies to the back of the pads where they rub the caliper housing and piston.
