1990 Delta 88 passenger side headlight problem

My passenger side light is burned out. :uhoh: I had a hard time changing it, I've got big hands and the area is a little small. Anyway, I put in one of those blue lights in both sides, and they look great, all but for one problem, the light still won't work...it works fine on high beams, and the drivers side works fine in both. I changed the light again and it still will only work in high beams. I also cleaned the terminals and checked for loose wires as far back as I could. What next? I go to work at 5am, so I kinda need these, lol.

I had some break trouble a few weeks ago, both front pads, rotors, and calipers had to be replaced. (the calipers wouldn't let off the break pads). The pads and rotors were only about a year old...:banghead: While it was in the shop we found a leak in the trans coolent line, just behind the radiator where water seems to pool up. I drilled a few drainage holes. I'm lucky we found that leak, I only check the fluid about once a week. New lines for that to. I'm going to put on a new high flow air cleaner next, any tips? Like a new O2 or Mass airflow censor when I do? Or will the old ones be fine?

Thanks again for all the help over the last few months.

You know what? I'm an idiot.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: You know what I just found out? There are Two, count them, Two lights on each side. :banghead: :screwy:

Anyway, its fixed now.

I've got another question though, if it's ok...

You know how there are two "boxes" on each side? One works on low, and the other works on high? Even though both "boxes" contain lights that have both high and low beam capabilities. I've checked online and there not supposed to work together, but I was wondering. Is there some way to wire them so they will? So that both lights will work? So that I can have all four lights working. It seems like it's just a matter of changing a relay or something...?

Also, I'm gonna get some fog lights for the car, they have them at Advance, but they won't tell me anything about how to put them on. Any wiring tips, or is it fairly straight forward?

I've already said, but I travel over some dark, wooded, no traffic for miles type roads on the way to work every morning. I'm just trying to increase my vision so I don't hit any deer (almost do every morning) but then be able switch back to normal lights so I can avoid blinding somebody (or a ticket) Any other tips?

(and I'm always on the lookout for performance tips....)
