1998 Ford Torus 24 valve engineGunshot 09-12-2007, 04:55 PM Has anyone had to change the O2 sensors on one of these yet and if so, how much trouble is it to change the forward bank 2 sensor? Do you have to take the exhaust off to get to it or what? Any help would be appreciated. It is actually a 1998 Ford TAURUS with the 24 valve engine. Sorry for the mis-spelling. TaurusKing 09-12-2007, 07:40 PM Probably not too much hassle, I bought a nice little o2 sensor socket, they make a couple different ones,I bought the short version, worked well. Worst part was re-hooking up the wiring harness Gunshot 09-12-2007, 10:44 PM Probably not too much hassle, I bought a nice little o2 sensor socket, they make a couple different ones,I bought the short version, worked well. Worst part was re-hooking up the wiring harness I have 3 different sockets for the O2 sensors and can not get any of them behind the primary catalitic convertor to get to the forward bank 2 sensor. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
