Ok, here goes, I recently purchased a 1991 pickup with the fuel injected 4 cylinder with a 124000miles, the problem is that it had sit for close to a year and I can't get it started. It seems to be getting a spark, although not sure if its a strong one. There was corrosion in the coil were the wire plugs in which I cleaned off best I could. The plugs look ok, fuses checked out ok and the vacuum lines are ok. I can't tell if the fuel pump is working(can't hear it running but not sure if I should) and can't really tell if its getting fuel, the plugs sem to be a little damp but but what I would expect after multple attemps at cranking. I disconnected the circuit opening relay and the reconnected it and the truck tried to start, but not sure if this was a coincidense. The relay seems to click twice when I turn the switch. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Update, I managed to get the truck started with starter fluid, however it will only start and stay running if I hold open the airflow meter and dies if I press the gas pedal or let the flap in the airflow meter close.
