If anyone has a clue please help. While driving my blazer just shut off. It was running fine and it just shut down and now i can't get it to start. It cranks but won't turn over. There is gas in it. Thanks for any and all suggestions

When the key is turned to the RUN position, (engine off) do you hear the fuel pump run for approximately 2-3 seconds, then shut off?

yes i hear the fuel pump

well earliar i could hear the fuel pump i just checked again and am not sure if it is going on or not now. i'm a chic so not to bright on this stuff my brother is coming over to look at it and i just want to give him all possibilities so hopefully he can fix it without having to go to a shop. Thank you

Have you checked fuel pressure?

Is the SES, (Service Engine Soon) light on?

Have you checked for a blue, not orange, spark at more than one spark plug? It should be able to jump at least 1/2".

SES light was not on. I will have my brother check sparks, pump and pressure and will get back to u thank you so much. n

Brother checked spark and it's sparking but checked fuel filter and it looked good but i guess he took it off and no fuel comes out does that mean pump is bad. I don't think we are able to hear the pump does that mean the pump needs to be replaced
