Gasket blew for my transmission (92 blazer)rdeckert 09-06-2007, 04:48 PM I own a 1992 Blazer. I need to replace the gasket for the transmission that's in the pan. The gasket blew out and there's tranny fluid everywhere. I know that when putting the pan back, a certain amount of pounds needs to be applied to each bolt and they have to be put in a certain order. That would be the info I need. If you know it, please help me out here. P.S. Can a truck overheating cause a transmission gasket to blow? Or can a bad gasket (before it blows) cause a truck to overheat? inafogg 09-06-2007, 06:02 PM Can a truck overheating cause a transmission gasket to blow?
