Ive noticed that the motor in a neon is similiar to the standard sohc motor in the plymouth breeze. now with that in mind i was wondering if the transmission out of a neon would fit. I was told by other that it would work but i need a transmission for my car and i need to know for sure if it will work. I know the ratios are gonna be a little different but i dont know if the mount will hook up right and if it will bolt up correctly without any problems. I dont have much time to do this because i work 65 hrs a week and i definately dont wanna pay anyone to do the work that i already know how to do because that would be senseless. I just need to have it bolt up and done ill probably only have a good saturday to get this done so if anyone can help me out id appreciate it. and also if anyone could help me by telling me what all parts are interchangeable for future reference i would greatly appreciate it.

thanks a lot

it will mount perfect, if its auto, take the transmission controller ite located on the left of the fuse box, if its standard take the clutch with it

The Neon and the Breeze both use the same motor and transaxle. As stated above, it will mount up perfect. You will need to take it to the dealer (unless you have the tools) and have a transmission relearn procedure performed or it will drive like crap.
