Replacing OE Fog Lights w/something better/ 2000 SierraHeeb 09-01-2007, 06:44 PM When the lens covers for the fog lights on my 2000 Sierra popped off, the lights stopped working. I noticed that the housings are plastic and kind of flimsy. Has anyone replaced them with something that they've found to be more durable? A metal housing and halogens would be nice. I'd also like to be able to mount them easily. The OE lights are about $60 a piece, and I'd rather not spend that kind of money on plastic. Thanks! horse482 09-02-2007, 07:23 PM Have you checked aftermarket? Just about everything anymore is plastic, but you can find some better lights out there. Try hella, or pilot. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
