Can anyone please tell the proper way to set the wipers so that thy don't park vertically. i have been messing with it for a couple hours now and can not seem to get them so that they park in the down position when off and are down while on intermitent.

On the crank arm, there is a tab that locates the park position. It is a very common problem for this tab to bend down, causing the wipers to park verticle instead of down. Most times, all you have to do is bend the tab back up and you're golden.

Ive bent the tab back up and it still isnt working correctly

then you either need a new wiper module or new crank arm.
