My 1993 Nissan Pathfinder V6 Automatic only starts WHEN IT WANTS TO? It will run and drive great for the whole day. I park it for the night and in the morning it wont start...I have spark tho. i have replace ALL fuses, Fuel filter, spark plugs, and Distributor? It drives me crazy....I never know when it wont start; so i am afraid to go long distances. Any help would be appreciated. I dont want to give up on my rig.:banghead:

Could be a shot starter, poor connections on the battery cables, faulty ignition switch, poor contact between the starter relay and the solenoid, etc. Lots of things.

I've got the same problem. From the research I've been doing, the "Big Blue" starter/inhibitor relay seems to be the problem a lot of time. Funny thing is (not funny for me anyways) is that I don't HAVE a BB relay located where it's supposed to be.

Its funny that you say that because I have trouble with mine starting every now and then, it just clicks. I pulled the BB relay and it still starts without it. So I'm thinking I must have pulled the wrong one, so I pull all of the relays and it still starts? Does this make any sense? Maybe its bypassed some how, but I still have the problem starting it sometimes. Battery terminals are good, connection at the starter is good also, maybe I just need a new ignition.
