The spark plugs on my friends ex will not pull out, they have a recess thing that goes into the cylinder around the plug but they will not pull out what should we do?

A spark plug socket has rubber ring inside. This ring suppose to grab the plug and you should be able to pull it out.

My sockets are pretty worng and I often use two long screwdrivers to fish the plugs out.

Come out? What do you mean? You can't get them to unscrew or after they are unscrewed, you can't pull them out.

If you can unscrew them but just can't fish them out, either buy a proper plug socket with the rubber boot, or use a proper length of 3/8" fuel line hose and push it down over the insulator and pull them up...I'd suggest using that to get them started in the threads as well...makes it impossible to cross thread them...

its all done,the clown that was doing it couldnt get the damn boots off of any of them and asked me to go look online so i posted here thanks anyways.

If you can get the spark plug lossen then you can use your spark plug wires to pull the plug out. If thats a problem then use a flat headed screwdriver to take it out.:banghead:
