97 GrandPrix fan knob

If anyone can help that would be great..My fan knob only blows air on speed 5, speed 4 is a trickle. No idea why this happened? Help.

dealer replaced the switch on my 2002 for that same problem

Your problem is the blower motor resistor (or blower control module if you have Auto climate control). Very common problem in Grand Prix's.
