Hi, I have a Intrepid 99, 2.7 Lt, when I drive for around 30 min in a city without the A\C the car terperature is normal (middle); then when I turn on the A\C and I drive for 15-20 min, the temperature increase to full.
I change the water pump and the thermostat, and add antifrezzer. And the problem continuous. Someone have any idea for this problem.

When you turn on the A/C does the cooling fan come on at the same time. It should.

I'm no help to your question, but maybe you could be help to me. I am trying to change the thermostat in my 98 intrepid and the housing on top of the motor seems to have a long metal pipe that runs along the inside bottom of the heads? How do you change the thermostat in these cars?

Ok, you can change the thermostat in the housing of the thermostat between the motor and the alternator, you need to take out the alternator to full access to the housing :grinyes:
