96 Regal ABS light onjbjbjb 08-21-2007, 06:39 PM The ABS light is always on when the car is running. ABS does not function. Ft sensors have 1.7k ohms resistance, rear sensors have 2.1kohms resistance. 5 volts at all sensor plugs. Apparantly this started as a flicker but was always on when I got the car. Is there any way to get codes without a scanner? Is there any troubleshooting flow chart I could get online? Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there another module besides the one on the master cyl? If so where would I find it? Thanks, jb maxwedge 08-21-2007, 08:04 PM Welcome to AF. The only was to diagnose this properly, after the resistance tests, the ft should be about 1020-1180, the rear 1030-1137. Is to scan it with an abs function scanner for codes and look at comparative wheel speed sensor inputs for the suspect area. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
