Cavy SWAP !!!SuperV 11-16-2002, 04:21 PM Would this be possible ???? Take this engine and put into one of the newer gen cavy's ??? http://www.highperformanceparts.net/Performance_Engines/24502609.html Pikachoo 11-16-2002, 07:09 PM It's possible :) , but I don't think you know what you're in for. It would take: 1) Lots of money.... if you're gonna have a shop do it for you...probably around $10,000 minimum. 2) A shop willing and capable of doing a total custom job. I mean everything, mounting that monster, cramming a tranny under there, probably gonna be easier to convert a cavy to rear wheel drive than to try and make a front wheel application work. New computer, a suspension capbale of holding all the extra weight, all new or custom internals(radiator, etc...) If you have the money than I say go for it!!! But it's not gonna be a nice and easy swap that just anybody will be willing to try and make work. Good luck. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
