Here's my third attempt at an illustrator cheat/trace and render. I modified a volkswagen Super Beetle I found on the 'net by adding some Porsche "fuch" style wheels and then brought the image into Illustrator CS2 for tracing and coloring.

In my previous attempts, I would do the trace in Illustrator and then pull the vectors into channels in Photoshop for filling and shading. This time I decided to use gradients, transparencies, and blending modes inside of Illustrator. It went much faster and I felt I had better control of the image. I can still scale it larger if I want since it's all still vectors.

Whatcha think? I tried to get the reflections to look better this time, and I'm still working on getting the chrome to look more, um, "chromey." :grinyes:
