I have 92 previa with 240K miles. Everything works, has no problems. All of a sudden today, with A/C full blast, it felt like egnine coolant started to boil. MY kids said there was some kind of smell also. I popped the hood later on. I could hear coolant boiling. I don't believe it was low. As always the A/C was not very cold. Need to check the frehon level.

Any one have any idea what is happning> Should I take it to get it checked up?

I would have someone look at r right away. Either the coolant is low, old, fan (s) not working, bad radiator cap, and the list goes on, but everheating is bad. :yikes:

I replaced the engine coolant with new one. The van runs well. Only problem is the engine starts to get hot when both A/C running. Without the A/C on van runs fine.

What should I check next? Do I need to replace the radiator cap?
