Hey everyone
I did a search on my isssue and couldnt find one quite like it so im hoping someone may know what the deal is.
I was driving back from the beach a few weeks ago and my check engine light came on. I did notice a little difference in performace but not too much. Checked the oil and it was low. Refilled it then drove back home with no real issues. However i did notice recently that my trans seems to slip alot, mainly between 2 and 3rd gear; ESPECIALLY when im slowing down to make a turn then speeding up. The engine will rev but it will take a few seconds to catch. It also seems like there is a loss of power.
Any ideas?
-The transmission fluid (color)looks good. (its red not brown/rustic)

You need to read your code. In our area Autozone reads it for free. I am not sure if you have Autozone in Baltimore. If you do not, you will probably have to bite a bullet and buy a code reader. They are not very expencive: around 60 dollars. It anyway will cover the cost of paying somebody to reas it for you only once.

Good luck,

Sam
