Hello all and thanks for your help in advance. Here is the problem I have. I have a 98 Neon and the machine hasbeen running like a top. Yesterday I notice that when I come to a complete stop the engine idels alittle rough. I can barley feel it while on park, but when is in drive with the AC on I feel it the most, specialy when I come to a complete stop at the traffic light. Any Ideas, the car has 140K and so far this is what Ive done.
New plugs, wires and filter. I have checked the EGR with a vaccum gun and tested OK. and I also checked the PVC valve and is OK. any other ideas will be helpful. Thanks
John.

Is your CEL on? When was the last time you had a tune-up?

Found the answer, thank you. There was no CEL light on. Put a fuel injector cleaner in gas and car is running like a top. I guess it was just some bad gas along with some dirt in the injectors.

What is a CEL light my man??? This sounds like a problem that my 2.0L DOHC 16V Highline Sport has every once in a blue moon. I've been told by one mechanic that the prob is the ignition coil pack, but another says it's ggod to go. What's up?

Could be spark plugs, wires or the coil pack. Check them all. Plugs should be changed every 10,000 miles with Champion copper plugs, wires about every 30,000 miles or so.
