New battery. the key fob will not operate the door locks. mine or hers. the car will not turn over and makes no noise like a selonoid or anything. headlights bright, turn signals work, horn works. Air condition and radio will not come on. Brake lights work. Any help will be appreciated. Bill

Try using the second key, if that doesnt work jiggle the gear shifter and touch the brake.
Other possible problems... It could be a loose wire or connector, defective or dirty contacts in the lock cylinder, broken wire comming from the lock cylinder or a temperature sensative module.

hope that helps

ok first of all, the reason your air conditioner or heater wont work is because the belt on the engine drives the alternator, ac compressor, ect. if the engine wont start you have no ac or heater. as far as it not turning over, id say its the solinoid, first of all check and make sure the battery has a least 13.5volts. if the battery's okay, then its might be a bad solinoid.

the cause is probably a bad solenoid. The solenoid sort of
turns the starter on. So, when it is not working, the engine
will not start.

The solenoid needs to be replaced. When the solenoid goes
bad, it's probably a good idea to have the entire starter and
solenoid unit replaced with a rebuilt one. Call various shops
for the best price. Of course though, you can do the job
yourself if you like. Refer to a repair manual which covers
this make and model for detailed instructions. Good luck.

hope this helps
