Change Plugs?

My '99 Expedition EB is at 102,000 miles, and has never had the plugs changed. It runs fine, and my gas mileage has improved lately for some reason from about 15.5 avg. to 16.2 avg. Should I go ahead and replace the plugs now, or let it go a little longer?

Yes,change them and I will explain. If they don't get changed, you will have a heck of time getting them out like snapping off and you do not want that.If they snap off,the heads will have to come off and the rest have to be drilled out.Put in Champions,Autolites or Motorcraft plugs which are made by Autolite.Stay away from Bosch plugs or any unknown name plugs.I am sure it has the coil on plug ignition system. If it has plugires, change them and stay away from AutoZone and Advanced for plugwires. They sell the cheapest plug wires and I all I hear are problems with their plugwires.

Use Motorcraft plugs and change the coil boots. You can buy the boots at the parts house. Champion lasts about 10K in the modular engines.
