What year and what engine?
Was the dist put back in right?
With engine TDC and No. 1 cylinder on compressiuon stroke the rotor should be pointing to No 1 cylinder plug wire.
If a 96 or later engine with flat top dist.
Set dist as shown in this picture.

If dist is set right ckeck for spark and fuel pressure.
