Ok I'm about to go outside and take some pics because I am not very auto savvy. I dropped my zippo while driving and with it still lit. As I was trying to close it in the seat of my pants, I stopped paying attention to the road and swerved offroad into a ditch. I didn't hit anything but it was definetly a bumpy ride. Well about halfway down the road I noticed smoke. I hope I might have punched a hole in my exhaust or it may a broke off but it was the tire that was rubbing. The tire is not completely vertical now. It sits at an angle. To explain it in words, the top of my tire is more in and the bottom of my tire is more out. I thought maybe I broke a wheel stud and that was the reason. But after investigating further, I believe its a bigger problem. I can't really say what's wrong because I don't really know what I'm looking at beyonds the brake parts. Give me about 5 minutes and you will see what I'm talking about.

Here are some quick pics that I took. I know for sure that's not supposed to be disconnected and it looks like that road that hold the spring is at an angle and its making the rotor and everything else sit at an angle as well. Beyond that I have no idea what to do. If these pictures are not good enough I can take some more. Thanks for any help.

This is one more picture I took. I don't know what that is. I don't have a clue why it is disconnected. Some tell me if this is going to be hard? expensive? I need some help.

Wheel alignment can go out of specification because of wear on suspension components, hitting curbs hard so that alignment adjusters are moved out of position, accidents that can bend suspension parts, or springs that have fatigued and changed the normal riding height of the vehicle.

This sounds like the problem. But I have no idea how to fix it.

bent the strut. had to replace a few things and buy a few tools. Overall, 3 1/2 hours work with a buddy and 100 dollars later I'm back on the road.
