Jackson Racing SC going into my Si :):):):)Azzkikr 02-25-2001, 11:41 PM Over spring break I'm getting the JRSC installed into my 99 EBP Si. After tuning with my Super Air Flow Converter I hope to be putting over 200 WHP. I'll be smoking all my friends cars this spring. Along with the SC I am also getting larger fuel injectors, a new FMU, a water cooler for the SC, a CF hood, and a new clutch. Any recomendatiosn on what clutch to get? I can't wait till spring break it's only three weeks away. justin@af 02-28-2001, 12:36 PM Tight...take some pics of the engine bay when u finish justin@af 02-28-2001, 12:36 PM Also have fun with those v8s...hehe JD@af 02-28-2001, 08:47 PM For the clutch, if you are not concerned with price, go for the best - Clutch Masters. But if you want to get a high quality clutch for significantly less money, I'd say go with an ACT clutch. Oh and uh enjoy your JRSC - I know I do :D Besides, it might not be a bad idea to save a few on the clutch to put aside money for a Quaife LSD, Toda cam sprockets, and a few other recommended goodies. SolReaver 03-17-2001, 07:43 AM There is also the Vortec supercharger for only the 99 Civic Si which gives you about 260 hp. I'm not sure if that's at the wheel, and it's about 6,000 Azzkikr 03-17-2001, 10:26 AM JD: I just talked with the guy that is installing the SC and he has a brand new Quaife LSD for only $800 so I am getting that installed as well. Also I'm getting an ACT six puck clutch with heavey duty presure plate. I can't wait on March 22 the install begins. :):):):):) GOD 03-17-2001, 12:10 PM WOW !!! your gonna be spanking your friends definitly .hehehehe so what other mods are u going to have besides the SC ? As JD@AF said go with clutch master their suppose to be really good ;) Azzkikr 03-17-2001, 12:21 PM I was thinking ClutchMaster originally but my friend highly recomended the ACT six puck. It was what he had on his old set up. What kind of times do you guys think I'll be hitting with that set-up? JD@af 03-17-2001, 02:15 PM Yes the ACT six-puck is a great buy. It may not be quite as high quality as the comparative Clutch Masters product, but it is a great clutch. As for your 1/4-mile times, what have you done with your exhaust system? Still got your stock header and muffler? Without switching these out, I'd think you would have trouble bettering 14.4 to 14.5.. and that's with a great launch. Upgrading these, with ideally 3" exhaust plumbing and a Kamikaze 4-1 header with 2.5" flange, you might be able to pull a 14.2, or a 14.1 on a phenomenal day. Best of luck. TheMan5952 03-28-2001, 09:26 PM Get a Centerforce Clutch, they are real good. Man, you gotta show some pics. And scan your timeslip when you run at the track. I sugest a Mugen or Kamakazie Header with no cat, 3" piping and a Tanabe Racing Meadallion. Jordo 04-17-2001, 10:49 PM The vortech supercharger gives you 272 hp at wheels and 181 lb torque. I think its the one i want. 0-60 is 6.0 tested. under $4000 for kit. Could you imagine a mugen ecu chip and that supercharger. :eek2: yes 9100 redline and that supercharger... omg hehe i want it :) anyways im out Jordo whtcivic93 11-12-2003, 12:54 PM :useless: damnnn 9100 redline! whiteracer 11-12-2003, 02:51 PM yes, this thread was worthless without pics, two years ago! leave the old threads alone newb. :disappoin superbluecivicsi 11-13-2003, 02:59 PM Over spring break I'm getting the JRSC installed into my 99 EBP Si. I can't wait till spring break it's only three weeks away. I would recommend to forget the FMU, Water injection, and CF hood, and put the money in some kind engine management (Hondata or AEM). The difference in your JRSC experience will be like day and night. Besides, why not protect your investment at the same time. SiGNAL748 11-13-2003, 08:32 PM how did whtcivic93 manage to bring this thread back up :eek7: this thing is a couple years old! 2001! :screwy: Dumped91Hatch 11-13-2003, 10:19 PM One word :newbie: :nutkick: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
