The interior light on my 2000 Windstar just started staying on today. I also noticed that the door ajar light is on. I checked and cleaned all contacts but nothing changed. For now I've pulled the fuse that controls them.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

You've got a sticking door switch. Do a search on this and you'll find tons of information. This is a VERY common problem.
