I am looking at 2 roadmaster wagons, both are 95s. Both owners dont know if they had the limited slip differential or not. The only difference I see between the two wagons is one has a large fan shroud sticking up at the front of the engine on the radiator and the other one does not. Is there anything I can find from the vin or somewhere on the car that tells me this? Thanks!

Look at the SPID sticker (Service Parts Identification label). On wagons just open the tailgate and look on the passenger side jamb. I think the RM you saw with the fan shroud has mechanical fans, signaling the vehicle has the trailer towing package. The other vehicle probably has the electric fans and no trailer towing package.
Here are some codes you can use:
GM8 Axle, Rear, 2.56 Ratio (Usual for RM Sedans)
GU4 Axle, Rear, 3.08 Ratio (Usual for 350 V8 Chevy 9C1 Police cars)
GU5 Axle, Rear, 3.23 Ratio (Usual for 265 V8 Chevy 9C1 Police cars)
GW9 Axle, Rear, 2.93 Ratio (Usual for 94-96 V92 trailer package cars and some sport suspension cars)
G80 Axle, RR Locking Type (Limited Slip)

Or jack up the rear of the vehicle and spin one wheel. If the other wheel spins the same it's limited slip. If it spins opposite, it's open.
