I just put a new clutch in the car it was on jack stands for 3 days with the front end up when I put it down and started it it was rough and sluggish that seemed to straighten out after a min or two but when driving it it runs great until you come to a stop when you push in the clutch and let off the gas the rpm's drop and most of the time it stalls it starts right back up and seems to idle ok. was going to buy a obd2 tool but the check engine light is not coming on? changed the fuel filter checked all vacum hoses cleaned the maf not sure what else to do :banghead:

did you make sure you primed the engine ? since it was on the incline ? might be a long shot but turn the key to the on position without starting the car 3 times with about 3 seconds between so that the gas is pumped up completely if that doesnt do it, then change the fuel filter or the pump is going bad it sounds like if it wants to stall when you stop, since the rmps are high while driving it will pump the gas easier since you have the throttle open
