91 Econoline E 350 Club Wagon extended

I am considering swapping a e4od for a c-6, this Econoline has a 351 W and had her E4od rebuilt a little over a year ago and less than two thousand miles ago and now the shop that did it is loing gone and I need a trans once again and I am seriously considering a c-6 replacement because the trans she had was rebuilt once before and this was her second E4od and once again it is shot and I had Fords with the Borg arner AOD and one with a C-6 and thewy were great. I had a 1988 E 350 with a 351 W and a C-6 that lasted 220 thousand miles. I wish to find out if anyone has done such a change over and if you did what was involved. Did the driveshaft fit and did it fitr in the same mounting placement and did the shift linkage bolt right up etc.

still need a trans ?

an aod and a c-6 crossmember mount different there is a 2" difference . i have a rebuilt aod with shift kit .
