Aurora 1998 headlights flicker, car is offmbatelaan 07-14-2007, 10:28 AM I recently purchased this car for my daughter, she parks in the driveway and I notice the head lights blinking in the driveway for no reason. Doesnt matter if it is day or night and sometimes it drains the battery. It has a twilight switch and it can be all the way on, off, or in the middle, no change. There is also a slight clicking noise that comes from the general area of the twilight switch/blinker area, seems like it may be a short but I would like to be fairly educated about the problem before bringing it in for service. Any ideas?? MB bugsas99 07-14-2007, 12:42 PM this has been covered numerous times. it is probably the stick that is used to turn the headlight on and off. check other threads. cutt1970 07-29-2007, 10:33 PM 99% sure it's control lamp module. It's located directly on the side of the steering column. Connected onto a white plastic bracket. I had this same exact problem and it's very random. After enough money spent that was my last resort and it worked. I wish someone gave me this advice $500 ago. jmleal 08-04-2007, 03:24 PM Hope this helps, here's a step by step p repair procedure http://www.howardm.net/dred98/switchfix.php cheelagle 10-05-2007, 04:13 PM I recently purchased this car for my daughter, she parks in the driveway and I notice the head lights blinking in the driveway for no reason.
