First off the 94 GC V8 made bad noises going from 3rd to 4th, spinning and whurring. 1st and 2nd were fine as was reverse. Now I tried to back it out of the drive in reverse and there is a spinning whurring noise coming from the tranny. I seached the forum and found something about a clutch pack that could be on it's way out, I don't have a manual, so for now, I'm relying on everyone here for help. Any other ideas, or is this a tranny replacement?

BTW the fluid does smell a little burnt but not really discolored.
