hello everybody can anyone explain the difference between the express 1500&2500 models? why is the 2500 heavier? Is there any difference in the ride on the two Welcome to AF 1500 is considered a 1/2 ton rated van. 2500 is considered a 3/4 ton rated van. 3500 is considered a one ton van The bigger the number the more weight carrying capacity. Some are more than others. There is light and heavy made ones in each model depending on springs and axles and tires Always check the door sticker for the GVW weight rating.
