Anyone know if it is possible to drop a 96 Caravan transmission into a 99 T&C. Both have v6 engines

The 96 fits in the 99,the interchange is 1996-1999 only.That transmission is very hard to find.The worst part is the back mount,3 bolts are a pain in the butt to get to and thank the engineer at Chrysler for that.I have a tip,take the differantal cover off,get the differantal pin ends welded on both sides.Do this on the housing of the differantal housing.The pin is known for breaking and will ruin the case.
