I hated the first one and I probably won't like this one, but this one has nicer cars. Luda's NSX is gorgeous, and of course the Skyline will be gorgeous, then you will have your typical ricers... i.e. the neon orange Supra in the 1st one...

That roof scoop and huge multi-level wing are awsome on the NSX, did you see the Dodge Ram 1500 that matches the NSX. Check out my thread for more info on the movie.

If someone could, I need some help identifying all the cars from the first film. I know the three 1995 Honda Civics, 1995 Toyota Supra, 1969 Dodge Charger, 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Mazda the RX-7. (If any of those model names or years are incorrect please let me know as soon as possible)

I would like to know what year the Mazda RX-7 if anyone knows, i'm assumin it's a one of a kind car considering no site seems to have the year for it.

Also, I need someone to tell me what car it is that Vince drives, it's blue and I believe it's a Honda but i'm not sure it's been awhile since i've seen the film. Lastely, I need to know the specifications for Letty's two rides(minus the black Civic) meaning the one she drove in the beginning to the restaurant and the one she drove at Race Wars.

I'll go ahead and tell you guys i'm no car expert, the thing is I need this information for an RPG(Role Playing Game) based upon the first film so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, after some digging around me and my friend Trish have come up with a bit, but still no complete specifications.

Letty drives a purple 240SX, what the make and year are has yet to be found along with a graph of specifications. The first car she drives is still completely unknown.

The Mazda RX-7 driven by Dominic has been impossible for me to find specs for so far, I have a sheet of RX-7 specs from different years, the only problem is I don't know what year Dominic's is. It still wouldn't tell me what alterations his RX-7 has, but it would give me a basic idea of what's regularly under the hood of the car.

Vince's Nissan Maxima, seen plenty of those, dunno what year it is either nor do I have any specs for it at all.

I don't have anything on Leon's Nissan Skyline GTR other then I got the make and model, no year or specs.

Dunno anything about Jesse's ride other than it's a Jetta.

As for Mia's car it's still a complete mystery.

If anyone gets the information I require just let me know.

I'm trying to find out more about them. Fast and Furious is one of my favorite movies and I like these cars. I saw the movie 7 times in theaters, but I only had to pay the first time.

Yeah same here, I know alot the Racers hate it, but I guess considering I know squat about it, it's enjoyable to me.

It's hard to find any info cuz these cars didn't play a big role in the movie so they were just left and forgotten about, which sucks pretty bad. I know that Frankie Munez bought Jesse's VW Jetta and he owns it now. I have no idea about the rest.

While watching 2 fast 2 furious, you might see some familiar cars. That pink S2000 was black and driven by Johnny Tran at race wars in the 1st movie. The supra, yup you got it replicas of the orange supra from the 1st movie recycled for the sequal. Vin Diesel may not be in the new movie but his car is, yes its the same 1994 RX 7. Amazing what a new body kit, interior and a little paint can do isnt it. :D

no no no, your all wrong! BAH! The charger was a 1968 with a 318 (serious) with a computer animated blower (some misconceptions: plastic blower, cardboard blower etc) btw, in 1970, they completly changed the charger, so it couldnt be a 69 with a 70 clip..:bigthumb:

Actually the Charger has had a very similar body styles from 1968 to 1970, Only in 71 did they change the stlye dramatically. Also, for further reference, the Charger used in the movie Fast and the Furious was a 1969 Charger with a 1970 front clip, not a 1968, take a look at the tail lights, Back in 68 we had round tail lights, in 1969 the long flats were introduced. The Charger from the fast and the furious had the long flats tail lights and a 440 6-pack with a blower extension. I had personally inspected the car from Universal, the 2 stunt cars has a 318 while the 1 show car had the 440. Well, my Charger needs its weekly run to he store, so gotta go.:bigthumb:

I've just read the book about the cars from fnf and 2f2f, and it says that the charger is a mix of the '69 and the '70 model, because they used 5 different chargers. one with a real supercharger, and four others with fake ones

Those 95' Civics have the VIS Strada-F1 side skirts, rear bumper and rear wing, with the VIS Servo front bumper. Hope That helps.

what I want info on.... is that wicked looking Blue Metallic MR-2 in 2F2F. you see it a few times, but you can see a full on side shot when Paul Walker and Tyrese arrive at the body shop, and walk towards the mechanic, you can see it along the outer curb. That is the best looking car in the movie IMO.

weight is wrong. you're 800 lbs over. unless it's got the ultimate system made of lead, there is no way. I saw this car in person in a jacksonville, fl auto show (before the movie).also it is an automatic.

His first car, the green one was a Mishu Eclips. Later on in the movie when he shows up with a burnt car, it a Toyota Supra which they paint Orange. Also there where some questions on Dom’s car, it was a 1993 RX-7. There’s a LOT of inaccurate race talk during the movie. Double clutch, from what I know, is a method of controlling speed around a turn. Used at the same time by taking your right foot and hitting the break while using your outside toe to hit the gas as well. It will keep your RPM’s up while breaking around a corner, so when you come out a it your RPM’s match the engine and can shoot out of it quicker. No double clutch needed for straight ¼ mile racing.

first off the supra was sold and it was the only car. so it was a new one in 2f2f. and vin diesels rx7 belongs to the same old man who built it he has it in his garage along with other cars.

The Body Kit is a VIS GT BOMBER FRont bumber with differ side skirts and rear bumber because they dont sell the Gt Bomber in on big package i dont thing but i know for a fact that the civic is a VIS GT BOMBER thats what i want if i get the 95 Civic Ex or i might do a eclipse just like the one in the movie.

Sorry if I'm bringing up an old thread here, but the Supra was not powered by a "2JZA80" engine as quoted before.

JZA80 refers to model code, and 2JZ-GTE was the actual engine used.

Also the Yellow BCNR33 GT-R used was later repainted and used in Tokyo Drift, where two especially attractive young girls sit in it and give away their numbers.

Lol Im a major eclipse enthuasist. Its not a gsx. Its a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse GS. Its not a 4g63 motor therefore its not even awd. Its a simple 420a(neon motor) if you look before the first race between torento(Vin diesel) you will notice this. And truly not to sound like im bashing this movie looked like he just had header and Cai.:biggrin:
