Hello,

I have a 98 Grand cherokee that won't seem to start. Just about a week ago my mother brought the car home and it was leaking water bad. so i replaced a bad water pump. once i got it all hooked back up the way it was I tried to start it. the engine turned over but no spark. I even tried starter fluid. I tested the coil pack and replaced it and im still not getting spark out of it. I'm not quite sure where the problem is coming from. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Is this a V-8 or I-6? If it was running fine before the water pump was replaced, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you probably forgot to plug something back in correctly. I think we need a little more info...
