i only have 1 speed available which is high on my a/c. i have read here that the bmr is probably the culprit how hard of a jo is it to replace and where do you begin also how much do the resisters go for? thanks pete

Move the passenger side seat back all the way. You start by removing the passenger side kick panel and remove the blower motor. 3 bolts secure it to the lower HVAC assembly. One electrical connector. The BMR is located behind the blower at the firewall and secured by a few screws.

GM/AC Delco BMR runs round $50 and available at a GM dealer. Aftermarket Wells brand at places like Autozone goes for around $20-$30.

i just di the job got it done in about an hour .the screws holding the resistor were a pain in the butt other than feeling like i went ten rounds with tyson (very hard position for body) i'm ahppy with the results. thanks for your help big pete:grinyes:
