97 Rodeo codes 0300 and 1133 hitnmiss 07-01-2007, 03:58 PM
I replaced spark plugs,MAF sensor, upstream 02 sensors and catalytic converters to correct codes 0300,0102,0135,1133 but it still runs sluggist, loses power and have codes 0300,1133.Any idea what to look for. hitnmiss 07-07-2007, 11:26 PM I had continued to have trouble with my 97 Rodeo with engine check light on and codes 0300 random misfire and 1133 insufficient switching O2 bank 1/sensor 1.I replaced the intake manifold gasket and got rid of code 1133 and then install some champion spark plugs and got rid of random misfire. Ramblin Fever 07-08-2007, 02:54 AM Thank you greatly for following up with providing the resolution; I'm sorry more of us couldn't be of help. I myself have a '97 but haven't experienced anything but a P0401 code so far, fairly easy fix, once you figure out where it leads. surferfletch 07-09-2007, 12:08 AM Glad you got it fixed. What plugs did you try first? hitnmiss 07-16-2007, 12:13 AM Well this Rodeo has turned out to be a challenge.I had tried autolite plugs before but when I took them off the right side where black and the left side were clean. My Rodeo ran good for a few days but got a rough a idle and after a few days I got a check lite and a code for the P0223 for the throttle position sensor.I did change the throttle position sensor. The Rodeo starts and runs great but my idle is bad.I got rid of the code P0223, but I get a random misfire.Somewhere around the time it triggers the check lite, around 2nd gear the lite comes and after that it runs good. This Rodeo has never had a clean emissions system, altough I have it running well it's still not as good as it should be.
